Brought to you by the
Rotary Club of Canandaigua
The Rotary Club of Canandaigua invites you to join your neighbors in proudly displaying the American Flag in front of your home. This program gives residents of our community the opportunity to show their pride and love for our country.
On four patriotic holidays, a Canandaigua Rotarian will “plant” a beautiful, three-foot by five-foot U.S. Flag on an eight-foot wooden pole in your front yard, in full display for all passers-by.
No digging necessary! We put the flag up a few days prior, and remove it a few days after.
Memorial Day
Monday – May 29th
Flag Day
Wednesday – June 14th
Independence Day
Tuesday – 4th of July
Labor Day / 9-11 Remembrance
Monday – Sept. 4th
For an annual donation, volunteers will place the flags you order in your yard 4 to 5 days before each holiday and we remove the flags 2 to 3 days after each holiday. You can sign up for our flag program at any time throughout the year.
You can also donate to support the Rotary International’s End Polio Now program providing free polio vaccinations. End Polio Now has helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won’t stop until we end the disease for good.
